Confused by the amount of signs on city streets?  The Calgary Parking Authority has come up with a couple of suggestions for new parking signs.  It's not uncommon to see three or four signs on one post with the inclusion of snow route ban signs.  The CPA has come up with a couple of designs it hopes can streamline the process and be easier for people to read and understand.  GM Troy Macleod says one has a column of the symbols and one has the column of the times and they are experimenting with the two layouts in hopes of coming up with something that will make it easy on everyone.  Macleod hopes a pilot project can begin later this spring in some areas of the city to determine if any of the two designs can be used to replace existing signs.
