Randall Hopley has pleaded guilty to the abduction of three-year-old Kienan Hebert.
The abduction of the little boy from his Sparwood home in September 2011 triggered an Amber Alert and set off a B.C. wide hunt for the suspect.
The 46 year old man was hiding out in an unused Bible camp near the mountainous Alberta-B.C. border when he was captured by a RCMP tactical team equipped with search dogs.
The boy was returned safely to his home five days after he disappeared.
Hopley entered his guilty plea Monday in court in Cranbrook.
