Premier Alison Redford says she expects a nasty tone in the upcoming provincial election. She continues to be coy as to when she's going to call for the vote, which many believe will be held on April 23rd. Speaking to reporters, Redford says she isn't going to visit the lieutenant-governor on Sunday and when asked where she will be on Monday, she said Edmonton. Alison Redford did say she began talking to her family at Christmas about the impacts of a campaign on their lives. She says she expects some parties aren't going to be very nice. "You put yourself into politics and that's what it is," Redford says. "I worry a little bit about my family." Redford says the Tories will do their best to focus on the issues and what Albertans want to talk about. She says the Tories will try to keep to a tone of dignified discussions when campaigning.
