The Calgary Board of Education has ratified a three-year agreement with maintenence and warehouse workers represented by the Canadian Union of Public Employees.
There are about 700 employees covered by the terms of the agreement.
It includes a first-year lump sum payment of $600 for permanent, full-time employees and $400 for permanent, part-time or temporary employees.
The agreement also includes a general wage increase of 2 per cent effective Sep. 1, 2012, and 2.5 per cent effective Sep. 1, 2013.
The agreement will be in effect until Aug. 31, 2014.
