With the help of the public, Calgary Police have arrested a man suspected in two assaults in the city. At about 2:30 this morning an employee of the Travellers Inn on 16th Avenue. N.W. was attacked from behind outside the hotel after refusing to give an unknown man a cigarette. The suspect then ran into the hotel and started rummaging through the hotel front desk . Staff members and hotel guests held the suspect until police arrived. Police believe this same suspect could be responsible for a break and enter attack in the N.W. yesterday. The man is in custody.So far no charges have been laid.
