Weather "big plus" for fall harvest
CJOB News Team reporting
10/1/2012

The weather couldn't be better for the fall harvest.  In its weekly crop report,  Manitoba Agriculture says the soybean harvest is now done in the Southwest part of the province.   In the Northwest,  the hemp seed harvest is well underway with yields ranging from 800 to 11-hundred pounds per acre.   The sunflower harvest is now underway in Central Manitoba,  while they're still harvesting corn in the east.    Pastures are now done.. in the Interlake with many producers using supplemental feeding or grazing instead.
