UPDATED: Couple Charged with Animal Cruelty Back In Court In August
Toronto/AM640

7/10/2012

Two Sudbury residents were headed to Newmarket court on Tuesday to face animal cruelty charges.

They were charged last month after their dog died in the back seat of a sweltering car.

Their court date has been rescheduled to August.

Police allege the couple left the one-year-old lab in the vehicle while they went shopping at Vaughan Mills Mall.

Twenty-one-year-old Matthieu Arbour and 20-year-old Angele Lazurko face a joint charge of causing unnecessary suffering to an
animal.
