Another bump in the road when it comes to contract talks between the Edmonton Catholic School Board and striking support staff workers.
The latest proposal from the union is being rejected by the board because union members are asking for more than what is funded in the second year of the deal.
"It's really difficult to say how long it will take going to put that counter offer together but we're hoping to meet with the union soon," says Lori Nagy with Edmonton Catholic Schools "We're just doing our best and still struggling with what we're going to counteroffer with."
Nagy says there is no timeline for when the board's counter proposal will be ready but she says both sides seem poised to have the issues resolved. (lk/ks)
