Voters in conservative strongholds in Calgary head to the polls today in two of five federal byelections.
The two seats in Calgary came open with the resignations of former prime minister Steven Harper and newly-elected Alberta PC leader Jason Kenney.

Both ridings were overwhelmingly conservative in the last election.
Voting stations in the Calgary ridings will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. More information is available from Elections Canada.
