RCMP are investigating after a body was found in the Bow River in Banff.
RCMP Cpl. Laurel Scott told Global News a civilian spotted the man near a pedestrian bridge in the townsite of Banff. He called RCMP just after 11 a.m.
Banff RCMP are still working to notify the man’s family. Scott said an autopsy is likely to be scheduled.
Scott said the investigation is ongoing and there is no word on cause of death, or how long the body was in the river.
