Speeders be warned. Calgary Police will be cracking down on lead-footed drivers throughout the month of November.
They warn mobile photo radar will be set up along high-traffic roads including Crowchild Trail, Deerfoot Trail, Barlow Trail, Stoney Trail, Macleod Trail, Sarcee Trail and Glenmore Trail.
Police said officers will concentrate on 30 communities in all four quadrants of the city and that community need was identified in the areas through statistic analysis.
On top of photo radar, there are 52 intersection safety camera locations throughout the city, which will not only catch speeders but those running a red light.
Police said the cameras continue to help reduce collisions and create a safer driving environment. A full list of camera locations can be found on Calgary.ca.
