One man is dead and a woman is in hospital after a crash south of the city early Tuesday morning. RCMP say three vehicles, all travelling northbound, collided on Highway 2 near 466th Avenue, five kilometers north of High River about 7:15 a.m.
A man driving a sedan was killed, while a woman in her 60’s who was driving an SUV was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. There were no injuries among those in the third vehicle.
The northbound lanes of Highway 2 have been reopened to traffic. Mounties are looking to speak with anyone who witnessed the crash.
