Cochrane RCMP responded to a report of a single vehicle rollover early Sunday morning on Horse Creek Road, approximately 5 km NW of Cochrane. Police say a vehicle was travelling north on Horse Creek Road when it entered the east ditch, striking a guardrail and an embankment, causing the vehicle to roll and become airborne, ejecting two of the four passengers.
The female drivers as well as her three passengers were transported to Foothills Hospital, one in critical condition while the others received only minor injuries. RCMP believe alcohol and speed could be contributing factors. A collisions expert with the RCMP is assisting in the investigation.
