The new Calgary cancer centre is another step closer to construction.
The Alberta government has chosen two companies to participate in a request for proposal for the design and construction of the facility.
PCL Construction Management and EllisDon Construction Services will have six months to prepare proposal packages. The successful bidder will be announced in the late Spring next year. The companies were selected through a competition which closed last weekend.
Construction of the centre will take place from late 2017 through 2023. It’s expected to open to the public in 2024.
