A superintendent at the Calgary Police Service says a lot of work has been done since 2013 when a review highlighted problems in the workplace culture.
Nina Vaughn says the service has implemented a lot of the recommendations in the report to improve the situation.
That includes relying on H-R expertise more and hiring another H-R lawyer and advisors.
Another step that was taken was the creation of a department within the police force to receive and process complaints related to workplace culture.
The internal workplace review from 2013 uncovered claims of sexual harassment, bullying and intimidation on the force.
It also highlighted a culture that made members feel leery of bringing issues forward.
