The Calgary Stampeders kicked off scoring in their last home game of the regular season with a field goal on their opening drive making it 3-0 early. But Toronto answered back 9 minutes in for a touchdown and with the 1 point convert it was 7-3 Argos. The Stamps made another field goal with Rene Paredes getting his 53 on the season making it 7-6 Argos after one.
Andrew Buckley got Calgary’s first touchdown of the night in the second and with the 2 point convert it was 14-7 Stamps. It was number 54 for Mr. Automatic making it 17-7 Calgary. Toronto couldn’t come together on Calgary’s 3 yard line for a touchdown and went for a field goal. To end the half it was 17-10 for the Stamps.
Charleston Hughes got his 15th sac of the season making him the CFL’s sac leader. DaVaris Daniels had a 41 yard catch for a touchdown making it 24-13 for Calgary at the end of the third.
At the 9 minute make of the fourth Calgary got another touchdown from DaVaris Daniels and Bo Levi Mitchell is zeroing in on breaking Doug Flutie’s record of most completions in a season. He needs five more to break the mark. It was then 31-13 for the Stampeders. In 71 years of the Calgary Stampeders no other team has had as many points as this one, they have won 15 games this season and are 15-1-1 on the season.
