A 26-year-old man is facing several charges after a multi-jurisdictional joyride.
RCMP say it started as a stolen vehicle complaint in Calgary this morning, where two police cruisers were rammed.
The vehicle was then involved in a gas-and-dash in Airdrie.
Using the GPS information from the vehicle, officers tracked the suspect to Didsbury.
They tried using a spike belt to stop the suspect, who went over it slowly, then took off out of the town on two damaged tires, eventually coming to a stop in a farmer’s field.
The driver then ran off on foot, but was quickly tracked down.
