Albertans are being invited to discuss the current status and future of the Heritage Trust Fund.
A legislative standing committee will hold its annual public meeting on Thursday, October 27th, 7pm, in Edmonton.
For those outside the city, the meeting can be viewed live on Shaw TV or you can follow it online at assembly.ab.ca.
Chair of the committee, and Calgary MLA Craig Coolahan says the public is encouraged to take part in the discussion to understand how the fund is managed and how it is performing.
Albertans can submit questions via e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) or through the legislative assembly social media.
The Heritage Trust Fund earned a net income of $1.2 billion for the year ended March 31, 2016.
The net assets held in the fund total $17.7 billion.
