As of January, Rogers Communications will no longer publish print editions of four well known magazines.
Flare, SportsNet, MoneySense and Canadian Business will only be available online as of next year as consumers continue to go digital for their information.
Meanwhile Maclean’s, Chatelaine and Today’s Parent are reducing their print freqency. Maclean’s will only be available monthly, Chatelaine and Today’s Parent-6 times a year.
Canadians spend upwards of eight hours a day on either mobile, tablet, or desktop, while time spent with print is in decline, down 18% since 2012.
Rogers says its print revenue plunged more than 30 per cent, year over year.
