There’s another candidate for the PC leadership in Alberta.
Calgary lawyer Byron Nelson announced his intention to run today. He says he wants to see Alberta restored to the “place of opportunity it once was”.
Nelson has been active in the party for over 25 years, and was a PC candidate in Calgary-Bow in 2015.
Nelson joins former Calgary MLA Donna Kennedy-Glans and former Conservative MP Jason Kenney as declared candidates to date.
The leadership campaign begins next month with the vote on March 18th.
