As the investigation into the death of Mylan Hicks continues, tributes for the 23 year old player from Detroit have been pouring in from all over.
Hicks was a first year player on the Stampeders practice roster. The team addressed the media shortly after news broke about his death.
“Obviously this is an extremely difficult and upsetting time for the players and staff,” said Stampeders president and general manager John Hufnagel in a statement. “It’s a terrible tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mylan’s family.”
Meantime condolences are coming in on social media for the former Michigan State LB.
