Charges have been laid following this weekend’s violent incident at Marlborough Mall.
Antonio Philip Bautista faces six charges including aggravated assault and assault of a peace officer after Saturday afternoon’s melee.
Police were called to the mall parking lot following reports of a man fighting and assaulting people with a weapon, but he had taken off before officers arrived.
One officer saw him behind a dumpster, which led to a foot chase into the mall.

He took out a weapon, severely injured the officer, leading to an altercation, and the officer shot the suspect.
Both were eventually taken to hospital in stable condition.

ASIRT is investigating because it was an officer-involved incident.
