A 23-year-old man is facing charges after a police-involved shooting at the Blackfoot Truck Stop on Saturday afternoon.
Police say two officers were trying to conduct a traffic stop, and when one approached the vehicle, the suspect acted suspiciously.
The officer noticed a rifle on the seat, and was told not to move, but he put the vehicle in reverse and tried to take off.
Investigators say the situation escalated and the officer shot at the suspect, who was hit by broken glass.
