Former prime minister Stephen Harper has landed himself a job with international law firm Dentons.
While Harper is still setting up his own consulting agency, he has also has teamed up with Dentons to provide clients with advice on market access, managing global geopolitical and economic risk and maximizing value in global markets.
The law firm also has former Liberal prime minister Jean Chretien on its roster, along with other recognizable names like former ambassador to the U.S. Gary Doer, and James Moore, Harper’s former industry minister.
Dentons calls the relationship with Harper a “strategic affiliation”. Harper will work out of the Dentons office in Calgary.
He officially resigned as Calgary Heritage MP last month after stepping down as Conservative leader following the party’s 2015 election loss.
