Albertans are giving home care services in the province a solid grade.
A new Health Quality Council of Alberta report card shows that home care clients rate their overall experience with the services as an 8.1 out of 10.
HQCA Executive Director Charlene McBrien-Morrison says there are some differences between different parts of the province.
“When we look at this rating by geographic area, we can see that clients in metro areas rated the quality of their home care services lower at 7.9 out of 10, compared to urban at 8.2 and rural at 8.4,” McBrien-Morrison told reporters Thursday.
The majority of those who responded to the survey rated personal care services as “good”, “very good” or “excellent”.
