RCMP are investigating the theft of nearly $1 million worth of jewellery from a Cochrane area home.
Police say home owners complained about a break-in at their Grand Valley Road property after returning from a trip on August 10th.
RCMP believe the theft occurred between August 8th and 10th with no signs of forced entry and the doors still being locked when homeowners returned.
They do say a window was found to have been opened to gain access but no sign it was forced open.
Among the jewellery taken was some unique items made to look like the brand used by the ranch run by the homeowners.
