Water quality has been restored in Fort McMurray as the last remaining boil water advisory after this spring’s wildfire has been lifted.
Alberta Health Services says water has been restored to a safe level.
The wildfire destroyed 2,400 homes and buildings when it roared through parts of the city in May.
But the RM of Wood Buffalo warns that water main lines in the Abasand, Beacon Hill and Waterways neighborhoods are still out of service.
Staff are working to flush the lines and get them operating.
