There’s expected to be a long line of people waiting when an airport job fair opens this morning.
Calgary International is looking to fill about 300 positions at its brand new international terminal-jobs that are desperately needed by many in the midst of the economic downturn.
Spokesperson Sarah Urbanowshi describes the jobs up for grabs.
“We have 10 partners that are participating in this job fair. They’re looking to fill roles in everything from security to customer service roles as part of our customer care ambassador program, to operational roles and also to fill some of the roles within those new retail and service locations that are going to be part of the new international terminal.”
The job fair runs from 11am to 7pm at the Coast Plaza Hotel.
