Two Calgary Stampeders have been recognized in the CFL’s weekly awards.
Running back Jerome Messam and kicker Rene Paredes claimed two of the three player of the week awards.
Messam ran for 109 yards and a touch down last week’s 35-15 win over Saskatchewan.
Paredes kicked for 17 points, including a five-for-five performance in field goals.
The third player honoured by the league was Loucheiz Purifoy of the BC Lions.
The Stamps and Riders will renew acquaintances on Saturday in Regina.
