Canada’s Penny Oleksiak has her second medal at the Olympics after taking silver in the women’s 100m butterfly.
The 16-year-old from Toronto finished with a Canadian and world junior record time of 56.46 seconds.
Sweden’s Sarah Sjostrom won gold in a world-record time of 55.48 seconds, and American Dana Vollmer finished third in 56.63 seconds.
Oleksiak was third at the turn, but closed strong over the final 50 metres.
Oleksiak won bronze in the 4×100-metre relay Saturday, swimming the anchor leg giving Canada its second medal.
