Calgary Stampeders quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell has been named one of the three CFL players of the week as a result of his performance in Friday’s 44-41 overtime win over the B.C. Lions.
Mitchell completed 29 passes for 364 yards and three touchdowns to help the Stamps move into first place in the West Division.
Two of the touchdowns came in the final three minutes of play as the Stamps came from behind and forced overtime.
Toronto Argos kicker Lirim Hajrullahu and defensive back A.J. Jefferson were the other top players this week in the teams win over Ottawa.
Mitchell is the second Stamps player this season to be honoured in the CFL’s weekly awards. Running back Jerome Messam was recognized in Week 2.
