It’s a full-time job, but someone has to do it.
Professional Shepherd Jeanette Hall is living full-time with 107 goats in a portion of Confluence Park for the next few weeks.
“How do you become a goatherder? And how long have you been doing it?” asks Bruce.
This is Hall’s first year under her own company. She tells Bruce about her turning point.
“I worked as an environmental consultant and that’s where I really started to see a need for organic weed-control,” she says.
Hall says it’s huge in the states and in Europe, but goats have aided in weed-control for 10,000 years, naturally.
