A charge has been laid in the fatal stabbing of a man Thursday afternoon in Calgary.
51-year-old Tiejun Huang was stabbed to death in the medical clinic at a building on 16th Avenue at Centre Street at about 2:30 Thursday afternoon.
Two others were injured.
A woman was rushed to hospital in non-life threatening condition, while a man was treated at the scene, then taken into custody.
Police now say 42-year-old Jin Qing Huang has been charged with first-degree murder and will be in court on Monday.
While the victim and suspect share the same last name, they’re not believed to be related.
