A quick court appearance today for a Calgary woman accused in the murder of her mother.
Lisa Freihaut appeared before a Lethbridge judge Tuesday morning via closed-circuit t.v. from the Calgary Remand Centre.
The 51 year old woman will remain behind bars until her next court date May 6th.
Police found the body of Irene Carter in her Lethbridge home in January, four days after they believe the 78 year old died.
Freihaut was arrested last Friday and charged with second degree murder, weeks after she went public with a plea for information on her mother’s death.
