I’ve got the privilege of chatting with you about what’s going on in your lives for the next two weeks.
Alberta hasn’t changed in the past month, but the government sure has. Despite the province leading the pack in Canada on economic prosperity, the last few months has brought an end to the flat tax that did great things at attracting and retaining business, and now a job-killing minimum wage hike is on the horizon.
As I see it, these are some of the province’s biggest issues moving forward, especially with such an inexperienced cabinet. Although, Alberta is still pretty inspirational: where else can a social worker become finance minister of the richest province in confederation?!
I am a broadcaster, writer and public speaker, and was a regular contributor on Sun News Network, before which I appeared weekly on CTS’s The Michael Coren Show. I have also offered my brilliant (and clearly modest) commentary on CTV National News, BBC World and Global Television as well as across the Corus Radio Network.
I also was a contestant on the first season of MasterChef Canada—though I was eliminated in the first episode.
In my career, I’ve had the privilege of interviewing people from Ann Coulter to the Backstreet Boys and Maya Angelou to Geert Wilders (not at the same time, as fun as that would have been). Politics, entertainment, culture: I love it all!
My writing on the subjects has appeared in the National Post, the Washington Times and on FoxNews.com, among other places as well! When not working away, I am a hobby photographer, play piano, and still enjoy cooking (you know, despite the rejection.)
